Our client is recruiting an Accounts Executive to join their finance department. Working closely with the accounts manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Posting of supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier
- Issuing of customer invoices/posting and allocation of customer receipt
- Carrying out Bank reconciliations
- Carrying out reconciliations of internal company accounts/supporting of other accounting functions where necessary
- Assisting Accounts Manager to complete daily tasks as required when necessary
- Carrying out accounting duties up to the Trial Balance stage
- Performing standard office procedures including scheduling appointments, processing emails, answering phone calls, typing and filling.
- Attending meetings as requested and taking notes during such meetings.
- Ensuring that all tasks are actioned and followed up until matters are resolved.
Education & Skills:
- AAT or A-Level standard of education considered
- Early-Stages Acca is considered an Asset
- Previous experience in a similar position considered an asset
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work accordingly.
- Able to work well in a team and on own initiative
- Meticulous and attentive to detail
- Conscientious and problem solving
- Excellent command of the English Language
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
