We're recruiting for a Compliance Officer for one of our established clients. Operating within the gaming industry, you'll be working on conducting compliance reviews for clients and ensuring their information is up-to-date and laws and regulations are being adhered to. Additionally, you will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring that companies are at all times compliant with the laws and regulations in accordance with the law
- Reviewing any due diligence documents and following up with the stakeholders internally for relevant vetting
- Maintaining information on all clients up to date on the company's systems and databases
- Offering investigative support to other areas of the company as instructed by management.
- Issuing regular compliance reports as instructed by management;
- Co-ordinating with clients and following up on changes within corporate entities, changes within the corporate structure, changes in directors, key persons, games and/or game providers, registered/operating addresses, and other company statutory changes;
- Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective clients and handling general queries received via e-mail or telephone;
- Liaising with clients and other key stakeholders, keeping them abreast of changes in compliance requirements;
- Keeping up to date with developments, policies, and procedures issued by institutions in relation to the industry;
- Attending training, conferences, and fora as required
- Contributing to the development and/ or maintaining processes and policies to achieve the objectives of the Department and in line with the changing requirements of the industry;
- Carrying out tasks as instructed by the Senior Executive and Compliance Manager.
Experience & Skills:
- In possession of a Degree level (MQF Level 6) or higher in Business/Management related subjects.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a Compliance related role.
- Experience in the gaming industry shall be considered an asset.
- Experience in commerce and/or accountancy and/or finance shall be considered an asset.
- Capable of working within a team, managing multiple engagements, and working to demanding deadlines
- Ability to identify high-risk areas and organize and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Think analytically and act strategically;
- Takes ownership and is action oriented.
