Our client is recruiting an Authorisations Senior Executive to join their Regulatory Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing applications received and act as the primary point of contact for authorization-related matters for their assigned portfolio of licensees, ensuring exceptional operator experience. Additionally, the responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of licensees by establishing strong relationships with their representatives and facilitating clear communication.
- Overseeing a team of licensing officers, administrators, and system auditors and promoting excellent operator experience as a top priority.
- Ensuring that applications received are thoroughly reviewed for completeness, correctness, and adherence to requirements and that all necessary fees have been paid.
- Serving as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the assigned portfolio of licensees.
- Coordinating the drafting and issuance of licenses, certificates, and renewals granted
- Processing requests related to changes in company ownership, key functions, technical setups, and other statutory changes.
- Supporting staff training and responding to general inquiries from prospective applicants.
- Communicating with regulatory stakeholders on related matters and providing regular activity updates to the regulatory senior management team, committees, and EXCO as needed.
- Representing the company at conferences as required.
- Performing any other tasks as directed by the regulatory senior management team
Experience & Skills:
- A Degree in a related field.
- One year of experience in a managerial role;
- In possession of relevant gaming experience in a regulatory function, including but not limited to, compliance, licensing, and operations;
- Qualifications and experience in legal affairs/compliance/business/finance/management and/or IT shall be considered an asset;
- In possession of good leadership skills, the ability to give directions, mentor, and motivate the respective team;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Ability to organize and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
- Think and act strategically;
- Take ownership and actions in line with agreed KPIs.
