Our client, an operator in the payments sector, is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. Being responsible for generating growth through sales and business development initiatives targeting B2B and high net-worth clients, the ideal person will be tasked with:
- Selling company products and services to interested clients
- Approaching clients directly to gauge interest in company products and services
- Coordinating with other Business Development Managers on spotting market opportunities or cross-selling for new and existing clients
- Creating strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
- Effectively communicating the company’s value proposition, processes and current partnerships
- Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads
- Working closely with Account Managers to deliver the best customer experience during the onboarding process
- Generating sales, revenue and expense reports and other insights to be presented during Senior Management meetings
- Identifying key areas for improvement in sales processes and reporting them internally
- Understanding competitive landscape, market trends and shifts whilst being fully aware of new products and competition status
Skille & Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant sales or business development experience are required, particularly in gaming, payments or forex (ideal) industry
- Proven track record in business development, B2B sales, or a related field.
- Hunter mentality – driven and able to generate own leads
- Able to manage the entire end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing of new business.
- Flexibility – Identify the need for change and, when necessary, design and drive changes in sales strategy/approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for winning deals
- Analytical thinking – Using different creative techniques to identify market problems and solutions, plan the next steps, and move opportunities through the entire sales process stages.
- Candidate must have an excellent command of English
- Candidate must be very confident on the phone, during video calls and with face-to-face client interactions
